Educational Opportunities

 

 

ZAPG will be offering certificate training programs in beginning, intermediate, and advanced genealogy practice.  The program will be designed to help genealogists meet the requirements for becoming a Zimbabwe board certified genealogist.  

 

Though taking the courses does not guarantee board certification, the coursework will provide applicants with an advantage in that they will have acquired the skills necessary to create, organize and present their portfolios in a professional way.

 

ZAPG members will pay a fee of USA $50.00 for each of the three courses: beginning, intermediate, and advanced genealogy practice. Non-members will pay USA $75.00/course. Students are not required to take all three courses, you select the course or courses that will enhance your current genealogical skill level.

 

Examination candidates will pay a USA $15.00 examination fee/course, which includes a certificate for successful candidates. Repeat testers will be charged an additional $15.00 examination fee.
